WHO WE ARE
Rooted in Kaloleni, Serving All of Kisumu
Al-Taqwa Community Based Organization is a woman-led grassroots organisation established over 15 years ago in Kaloleni/Shaurimoyo Ward, Kisumu Central Sub-County.
We work at the heart of our community — improving well-being through targeted health interventions, gender-based violence advocacy, women’s empowerment, good governance, and climate change action, serving vulnerable women, youth, and marginalised members from our base near Kaloleni Mosque.
Over the years we have built strong partnerships with IOM, URAIA, Suswatch Kenya, Uhai Lake Forum, and the Paralegal Society of Kenya — delivering programmes that create lasting change.
